The publishing program was launched in 1997 with the aim of presenting the recent feminist literary production by translating relevant theoretical works, but also by publishing theoretical and activist works by local authors. So far, 24 titles have been published (books, anthologies, textbooks) and several series have been initiated:

Treća (The Third), the journal of the Center for Women’s Studies

The journal was launched in 1998 with the aim of communicating knowledge, exchanging information, promoting contemporary theoretical reflections on feminist issues and providing new insights and scholarly contributions on the subjects of femininity and the feminine. So far, 15 issues have been published (including three double issues). In addition to an issue’s main topic (we have dealt with identity, feminist theologies, desire, eco-feminism, the body, pornography, ethics, the media, utopia, political trauma and structural violence and memory), Treća also features texts on feminist art (with an emphasis on feminist practices in Mid- and Eastern Europe) and literature, and reviews of recent women’s studies and gender literary production. It is published bi-yearly, and can be bought in Croatian bookstores and at the Center for Women’s Studies.
